Location

The place of study is located in scenic Urbania, formerly named Casteldurante. A medieval town situated close to Urbino (the birthplace of Raphael) Urbania is an ideal location for a Study Holiday. It is rich in artistic heritage and has a tradition of ceramics developed during the Renaissance. This charming town rests in the foot hills of “Le Marche”, the region across the Apennines from Tuscany, and is just 50 km from the sunny beaches of the Adriatic coast.!

How to arrive in Urbania?

Rome's Leonardo da Vinci (Fiumicino) and Milan's Malpensa are the key airports for long haul flights into Italy. Continental, Delta and United Airlines operate regular services from major U.S airports. Canadian Airlines flies from Toronto and Montreal, and Quantas from Sydney and Melbourne. Alitalia offers regular services from the USA, Canada and Australia.

It may, however be more convenient and economical for long haul passengers to take a budget flight to London, Frankfurt, Paris or Amsterdam and then continue with their journey by train or "no-frills" airlines.

Ryanair flies from London Stanstead to both Bologna-Forli and Ancona (which are the closest airports to Urbania) and also from Frankfurt to Forli.
